Upcoming Dates / Reminders:
- Book Exchange is on Thursday. Please return library books before then.
- No Read Around the Room this week as we will be leaving for our field trip first thing on Friday. If you haven't yet handed in your permission form, please do not asap. The bus will be leaving at 8:45am. It is very important that everyone is on time so we don't leave anyone behind. We will be outside at Goldstream for the morning so please keep an eye on the weather and dress your child appropriately for the forest. Also please keep a small snack out that your child can bring with them to Goldstream, either in their pocket, or in a shared bag that I'll bring.
- Another field trip is going home later this week for a trip to Parkland Secondary for a show that the musical theatre students will put on for us. Also a notice about Lochside's 50th Celebration will be coming out later this week too.
- No School on Monday, May 9th. It is a 'Non-Instructional' Day.
- We have started our 'Scientist of the Day' job for our Special Helpers. We have watched a lot of great experiments and the students have done a superb job of standing in front of their peers and sharing their knowledge. If you are looking for more science experiment ideas, check out these links:

- We went to the computer lab today and explored some math games on 2D shapes on abcya.com You can find the games we played under 'Kindergarten' and 'Skills.'
