Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are pleased to share that once again LEPAC will be constructing a large cardboard gingerbread house in the school lobby for the Help Fill the House Food Bank Drive. Food Collection will run between December 2 - 13th. We will be sending home more information next Monday, December 2nd - watch for your gingerbread man picture for kids to colour and bring back for house-decoration.
***We are collecting boxes to build the house and would really appreciate any extra-large boxes being dropped off this Wednesday morning, November 27th to the school lobby.
Special thank you to Judy P. & Kelly P for coordinating the Scholastic Book Fair! And thank you to all the other volunteers for volunteering their time as well: Mary B., Don M., Natalie B., Amy V., Tamara P., Orla C., Scarlet Y., Tanna M., Vanessa T., Mark C., Carolyn P., Jill M., Christina L., Yvonne D., Melanie P., Lynn H., Allison S., Lorelei L., Tricia S. and Stephanie K. The Book Fair was a great success and met our fundraising targets as well as qualified the school for several hundreds of dollars of new books.
The Holiday Book Shop still needs some volunteers, during school hours only, on December 3 & 4. Shifts at the bookshop are as follows: 8:45-10:45, 10:45-12:30, 12:45-2:48. Please email lochsideholidaybooks@gmail.com to help out. Also, these are the last three days for book donations so please bring in a few books for this fun event.
