Upcoming Reminders and/or Events:
- Winter concert is coming up! We will be performing 3 songs on Thursday, December 20th at 1pm in the gym. Students are invited to wear their fancy concert clothes.
- Our farewell to Ms. Moser will be on Friday with an assembly at 9:00am. The Lochside community is invited to dress up as lumberjacks with plaid and toques.
- Friday afternoon the 4/5s will be headed to Commonwealth Pool after lunch. Please help your child remember to pack their swimsuit and towel.
- Warm wishes for a wonderful holiday season. I hope families have a time for fun and relaxation together. School is back in session on Monday, January 7th, 2019. I'll be sending home their indoor shoes over the holidays. Please check to make sure they still fit and send them back in January.
Here's what we're up to in class:
- Math: This week we are finishing up some math subtraction strategies.
- Writing Studio: This week we are finishing up our Poem Trees and hope to have them up for Thursday's concert for you to see!
- Music: We have one more practice before the concert on Thursday. We have put lyrics in the pocket of our agendas. Please encourage your son/daughter to go over the words each night to help them memorize them in time for the concert.
