THANK YOU's

LEPAC would like to thank Samantha B. for organizing the movie night this past Thursday evening.  We also want to thank the wonderful parents who volunteered to help out that evening with food and set up/clean up as well as all families who came and supported this fun event.

A huge thank you to Megan M., and Jamie S., for organizing the Scholastic Book Fair.  Many hours of work went into making this event a big success. We also want to thank every parent who signed up to take a shift during the book fair.  Without you, this event would not be possible. It's always worth it when you watch all the students (428 to be exact!!!) so excited looking through the books and purchasing their favourite item smile

Important Events

FILL THE HOUSE FOOD DRIVE IS HERE!!!Cardboard Ginger bread house with bags of food around it

We can't believe it is already here.......Our annual Fill the House Food drive is starting tomorrow!!!!  Please look for the thrifty's bag that will be coming home with your child on Monday. Attached to the bag will be a letter with more information regarding donations as well as a gingerbread person that your child can decorate, cut out and return to the office.  We will be accepting donations from Nov. 26-Dec. 7th.  Our community has always been so supportive of this LEPAC initiative in year's past.  We thank you in advance for all your donations!!

CHRISTMAS TREE WISH LIST

Additionally, we are excited to announce that families will have the opportunity to fulfill holiday gift wish list items for Lochside families in need again this year. There will be a tree in the lobby with gingerbread men hanging from it noting the various wish lists. Should your family choose to “fulfill a wish”, a parent/guardian may remove a gingerbread man from the tree, purchase the item on the back, return the unwrapped gift along with the gingerbread man and place it in the designated box under the tree in the foyer.

HOLIDAY BOOKSHOP

It’s that time of year again for the “Holiday Bookshop!” This is an event where we collect donations of used books so that the students can come and chose books for their family members as gifts. The children are always very excited to go home with their own wrapped presents! Suggested donation is $1 per book with the proceeds being split between our PAC and the Mustard Seed food bank.

At this time, we are asking you to please send in good condition, used books. Please consider what would make an appropriate gift; no outdated computer books, religious books, etc. We are also looking for donations of wrapping paper and gift tags. There will be a box by the front office and another at the top of the ramp by the sunspace for your donations. Thank you in advance for your support!
