We would like to thank all the families that have taken time to help out with the book fair so far, this past week. This is a huge event that requires man hands to make it a success, so thank you very much!
Thank you to Jen Massullo, Heather Ruperto, Sarah de Rham, Raj Sangha, Andy Holland and Jodi Holland for organizing, assembling and distributing the veggie bundles and apples for the Fresh To You Fundraiser! Thank you to families who supported our healthy fundraiser.
Thank you to all the families who help each time with our Fun Lunch program, again, there is a lot of work put into it and it is so amazing to have each of you helping out.
This upcoming Thursday we are having a school movie night! Friday is a NID, so come on out for a fun family evening and watch Hotel Transylvania 3 with. Wear your PJs, bring a blanket, pillow and or stuffie and join in the fun. There will be pizza and snacks available for purchase. This is a family event, and parents are required to be present with your children. Please see the attached poster for more information.
LEPAC Monthly Meeting
Everyone is welcome to come and attend our monthly LEPAC meeting on Wednesday November 21 starting at 6:30. This is a great time to connect with other families, school administration, and to hear about all the exciting this happening at the school.

Welcome to our 2018 Christmas School Fundraiser, with Purdy’s Chocolatier!!! Thank you for your continued support throughout the years. The money raised will go toward sending the grade 5's to Camp Thunderbird.

Purdy’s chocolates are made fresh in Vancouver from only 100% sustainable cocoa. This program gives 25% of the proceeds will go to the Grade 5 fundraising committee. The campaign runs until November 27. Orders will be available for Pick up on December 7th, at Lochside Elementary in the main entrance. The following dates are scheduled for pick up at Lochside. Ongoing Bottle Drive
Help our Grade 5s get to Camp Thunderbird this summer. It’s easy! Just drop your bottles off at the Bottle Depot located at 4261 Glanford Ave, 655 Queens Ave, and 3961 Quadra throughout the school year.
Please advise the cashiers at the beginning of the transaction that you would like to donate the bottles to the Lochside Camp Thunderbird account. Please email Raj Sangha should you have any questions about the campaign at rsangha.van@gmail.com

Scholastic Book Fair Teacher Wish list
Did you know that along with the book fair is a Teacher Wish List program? Teachers have taken the time to make a wish list of books that they feel our kids would enjoy having in the classroom for them to have a chance to read. These are available for parents or family members to purchase and to donate to your child’s class. At the end of the fair any books purchased will have a sticker placed in them with the child’s name who has donated the book and be presented to the teacher.
