Volunteer Prize Draw
Tina Lazurk is this week's winner of the volunteer gift basket. Tina has 2 children in Grades 2 & 4. Tina is on the Healthy foods committee and helps along with her partner Jodi Holland to arrange such events as Unplug and Play at McMinn Park every Sunday, Games on the Green, every Thursday before school starts, and arranges for the distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables for our students. Tina's hobbies are gardening, sewing, running and swimming. Thank you Tina for all of your hard work in making Lochside Elementary a great school for our students.
Games on the Green
Join us for Games on the Green in May! This free drop-off program encourages active play before school and is offered by parent volunteers. Drop your child off in the school field (or in the gym with their indoor shoes on rainy days) at 8 am on Thursdays from May 3- 31st. Need more information or want to help out? Lochside Talent Show
Mrs. Kenny is looking for a couple of volunteers to help decorate the stage on the morning on June 21st for the talent show. Help will also be needed at the lunch recess (11:15) June 7 and 8th. This is a big event that the kids look forward to all year and the more hands available to help the easier and faster things will go. Anyone able to help please email lepacvolunteers@gmail.com
Grade 5 Bottle Depot Fundraiser
Just a reminder to those donating their bottle returns to the Lochside Grade 5 Fundraiser at the Bottle Depots, the account will be officially closed June 1st.
