Thank you to all of the students who participated in Games on the Green in May! These kids got their hearts pumping while having fun before school on Thursday mornings. Thank you to our Games on the Green leaders, Amy and Kelly G, and all of the other parent volunteers who assisted with this initiative: Lindsey D-B, Laura F, Heather G and Jodi H.
Volunteer Prize Draw
This week's winner of the volunteer gift basket is Erika Wall. Erika works full time at the University of Victoria and has two girls at Lochside; one in kindergarten and one in grade 2. Most of Erika's hobbies involve her girls and they love gardening, reading, exploring and doing creative projects together. Despite all of that activity, Erika found time to volunteer at the Fall Scholastic book fair. Thank you Erika for your contribution to the school!
