Upcoming Reminders and/or Events:

  • Our Pajama Potluck Movie Day is tomorrow (Tuesday!). Students are invited to wear their pjs, bring a stuffy, and a potluck item to put on the table for lunch. We will be selecting a movie to watch and enjoy a day celebrating the good work we have done throughout the year in our actions towards each other in kindness, acceptance, and respect. Way to go, Team 3! Don't forget to bring your potluck item to share with the class along with a bowl/plate and utensils for your lunch, and a water bottle and snack for the morning.
  • Following the letter and booklet that went home on Friday, this week (Wednesday and Friday) our Intermediate students will be having their maturation sessions with their teachers.
  • Trail Walk is on Wednesday. Parents are welcome to join us, 8:45-9:30am.
  • Due to rain the whole school photo was postponed and we are trying again this Thursday. This will also include the Grade 5 photo.
  • Fun Lunch is this Friday.
  • This marks the final week of our student teacher, Miss Webster's, practicum. It has been a pleasure having her work with us. We wish her well and can't wait to have her as a 'guest teacher' soon as this is her final practicum.

Math: Students will be finishing up their dream room projects and presenting them to their class. Can't wait to see what they came up with!

Gym: The Lochside World Cup Tournament is happening this week with mini soccer games during our gym times.

Language Arts: Autobiography books will be completed this week and put together in a book to share with others in class and home.

Art: Today students worked on a Echo Flower art project with Ms. Swan and will continue to work on these throughout the week.

Special Activity: The students have been asking for another Breakout Edu activity and what better way to finish off our time with Miss Webster than to share a Breakout box with her (like an Escape Room activity) and share a special project we've been working on this week to show our appreciation for her and the work she's done with us.
