Classroom News:

Literacy: We have lots of letters in our class and school environment. This week we will go on a hunt and see what letters we can find. We will also be working on some top secret projects this month. ;)

Numeracy:  We continue our countdown to Christmas by taking a loop off each day. We are learning about numbers and practising counting backwards. Today we watched a video and talked about what a pattern is. We noticed patterns can be colours, shapes, and numbers. We used some class toys to build patterns. This week we will create a candy cane pattern.  Our poem this week has numbers in it. We will be practising forming each number correctly and put together a holiday counting booklet. Lots of holiday number activities to do!

Science: As we get closer to winter we will head outside and notice signs of Winter.  What has changed since fall? What is the same?

Gym: In Gym we are working on overhand throws with one-hand as well as 2-handed bounce and catch activities.
