Dear Lochside families,
We are still looking for more help with the Book Fair tomorrow and Tuesday. If you can help, please sign up for a shift using our sign up form. Also, please make sure you fill out the ballot on your book fair flyer and return it to the ballot box at the book fair for a chance to win $25 in books for your family and $25 in books for your child’s classroom! The draw will be made at 11:00 Tuesday morning.
Movie night is this coming Friday November 27th. Take the night off and come and enjoy dinner and movie with pizza, popcorn and cookies for sale. Bring cash and your own water bottle.
Construction of the House for our Fill the House Food Drive will begin on Thursday morning and we are still in need of a couple of extra large appliance or furniture boxes for the base. Please contact Kelly if you are willing to donate. Bags and details regarding this year's Food Drive will be coming home with students on Friday.
In past years, we have had a holiday book shop at the school in December. The book shop takes gently used donated books and makes them available for students to purchase for a minimal cost as gifts. In order to make this event happen this year, 3 volunteers are needed to organize it. We will be making a decision about whether we can move ahead with this idea by this Friday, so please contact Kelly asap to let her know if you would be interested in helping to organize this.
