Please join us for this month’s LEPAC meeting this Wednesday October 21st beginning at 6:00pm in the staff room. Along with the Principal’s report and other interesting information, the annual budget will be discussed. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Our Halloween Bash is getting closer so start getting your costumes ready! The event will take place on Friday October 30th from 5:30-8:00pm. The evening will include dinner (pizza/hot dogs, veggies, snack). A suggested donation of $5.00 per meal with extra slices of pizza for $2.00 each is being requested. There will be coolers of lemon water and cups available as well. Families are encouraged to bring their own reusable beverage containers.
Tickets will be sold at the door for the Evil Dr. K show, games in the sunspace and the cupcake walk. Tickets will be $1.00 each; $5.00 in tickets allows access to all venues.
We would like to request families bring in carved pumpkins with "spooky" faces. The 5 spookiest will be displayed in the Evil Dr. K Lab and the rest will be displayed in the gym. Pumpkins can be dropped off on October 30th on the gym stage.
Donations of nut-free cupcakes for the Cupcake Walk would be greatly appreciated. If you can help with this, please bring your cupcakes to the kitchen on October 30th or email Stephanie with any questions.
We are also looking for any spooky decorations that we can borrow for this event, particularly a smoke machine and black light. Please email Kelly if you have any decorations you would be willing to lend or donate.
Paper doors went home with students last week. We are asking students to colour and return them to the collection box at the school office so they can be used for the event.
Thank you to all of the organizers of this event and to all who have offered to volunteer for the night so far. We can’t put this on without your help. To that end, we have created a volunteer sign-up form specifically for this Halloween Bash.
