Hello Parents!
Welcome to the new school year and our class moodle site. I use this page to notify families of what we're up to in the classroom as well as note special dates and announcements.
Kindergarten Hours This Week:
- Monday: 8:35am-12:15pm
- Tuesday: 12:14-2:43pm
- Wednesday (Regular Hours begin): 8:35am-2:43pm
This week we will continue to learn new routines, learn our new friends names, play together, and do some table jobs. It looks like we may get some rain this week. We try to get outside as much as possible so please remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather.
Upcoming Dates / Reminders:
- School supplies should be coming in this week. Thank you to those families who have already dropped them off.
- An information booklet (see attachment) went home in a plastic pocket on Friday. Please return the pocket with the student information sheet filled out. There was also a brown paper job with a job for the students to do and bring back to school the week.
- September Scholastic orders will be going home this week. If you would like to order anything, please have them back by Friday and remember to send cheques only payable to Scholastic Canada.
- This Thursday is Lochside's welcome back BBQ. Hope to see many families there 5:30-7:00pm.
- We will be starting our Special Helper job next week. The first job is to bring in a family picture so we can get to know one another. The picture will be staying in our classroom for the entire year on our 'Family' board and will be returned in June. A printed off photo is fine, no larger than letter size please. 4x6 is perfect.
- Individual photos are happening Wednesday, Sept.23rd.
