Students from Mrs. Bell's, Mrs. Sihoe's and Mrs. Cavallin's classes have been excited about learning how to raise baby chicks using incubators in their classrooms. The students have been learning about the life cycle of chicks, charting the growth of embryos and making predictions. Each child had the opportunity to observe the embryo in the egg at different stages of their life cycle. The excitement was quite apparent this week as the eggs started to hatch. We have now four baby and noisy baby chicks in the brooding box in the sunspace.
