Dear Lochside Community:

Please note the upcoming Movie Night, screening Big Hero 6 on Thursday, April 9th.  Doors open at 5:45pm, movie starts at 6pm.  Don't cook dinner! Pizza will be available for purchase so please bring cash and your own water bottles.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers are needed for Teacher Appreciation week.  A luncheon is typically coordinated for the teachers; if you are able to help or provide a dish, please contact Stephanie at lochsidepac@sd63.bc.ca.

Parents of students aged 9-13 in school district 63 are welcome to join Jennifer Gibson, Sexual Health Educator from Island Sexual Health on April 15th for a Sexual Health Parent Education Night. Participants will be given strategies to become more comfortable discussing sexuality and sexual health issues with their school aged children.  In this workshop, parents learn how to ensure their children have access to accurate information to promote healthy, positive development and relationships.  See the attached poster for details and a link to further information.

The LEPAC Annual General Meeting will take place on May 20th and each year executive are voted into their positions at this meeting. These roles serve an important function within the school community. If you would be interested in participating on the executive, or would like to come out to a meeting and see what it's all about (and maybe get an early scoop on school happenings!), please consider joining us for our April meeting or the AGM in May. You can also express interest by emailing lochsidepac@sd63.bc.ca.
