Dear Parents & Guardians:
*** Morning Watch is still looking for volunteers to help ensure that all kids arrive at school safely. It takes approximately 30-45 minutes after drop off, and is very easy to do. Please email Carolyn Phillips at Lochsidemom@gmail.com if you are able to help. We are really low on volunteers this year, so even 1 or 2 mornings a month would help!***
From November 24th – December 5th Lochside School is holding its annual Food Bank Drive. Please watch for bags coming home in students’ backpacks along with a flyer outlining which items are most preferred by the food bank. Also attached to the bag is a copy of a gingerbread man - we need these to decorate our giant gingerbread house in the front foyer of the school. Please ask your child to colour and cut out the gingerbread man and deliver them to the office where volunteers will stick them onto the house. We appreciate your assistance with fostering a caring school community and whatever contributions you are able to donate. We are also in need of some large boxes to construct our cardboard gingerbread house. If you have any furniture/appliance boxes or any other large boxes that you are willing to donate, please drop them off in the foyer of the school on November 20th. Thank you, in advance, for all donations!
This Wednesday at 6:30PM in the staff room is our next LEPAC Meeting. All parents are welcome to attend and childminding is provided.

LEPAC Movie Night is coming up on November 28th - poster attached. Please let us know how many slices of pizza you would like by following this link. Continue through each screen by clicking "next" until you get to the "message board" and indicate how many slices you anticipate your group eating. This will help ensure we order enough! Feel free to add wished for type of pizza but no guarantees.
