Dear Lochside Community:
There are lots of opportunities to help out this month!
This Friday, there will be a Courtyard Work Party from 12:15pm to 2:30 with some snacks for the volunteers. Bring your work/gardening globes, shovel, hand trowel, rake or whatever your favorite tool may be. For more information, email Sandi Rainer at email@example.com. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org so we have an idea of numbers. We need to prepare the beds for Spring Planting and try to master the weeds that are creeping up. More hands make light work!
Thursday lunch time Basketball for grades 4 and 5. Learn new skills, play games, win prizes, have fun! First session this Thursday, May 8th and every Thursday afterwards until the end of term. Each session starts in the gym, but we will move to the outside court weather permitting. No experience necessary, all grade 4 and 5 students welcome. Special thanks to Mike B for organizing.
SMILE CARDS still have a long way to go to reach our maximum. This year we have committed this money already to buy sets of classroom books and we need your help to reach our target. Even if you have a grandparent or someone who you know will shop at Thriftys, we are in a big push for these last 2 months of the school year! Extra cards are available at the office.
Coming up is the Bike "Road-eo" on Thursday, May 22nd between 9-11am and if you are available to help please email email@example.com.
