Dear Parents & Guardians,

Non-perishable food collections are open all week for the Help Fill the House Food Bank Drive, until December 13th at 9:30AM. Please drop off all donations at the beautiful gingerbread house in the school foyer.  We would also like to have more coloured gingerbread men to decorate the house so please drop those off at the office.  Thank you very much for all the generous donations to date!

The school also puts together a few hampers for families within our own school and if you would like to make a gift donation such as a gift card or voucher those can be included; please drop those to Kitlin at the office.  Thank You!

Movie Night is this Friday night at 6:00! All children must be under the supervision of an attending adult; please remember not to talk throughout the movie; and bring your own water bottle.  Also, if anyone wants to bring in some treats to be included in the non-dinner concession that would be appreciated; they can be left in the LEPAC kitchen after school (labelled) or brought to the school by 5:45.   All funds from the concession go to LEPAC.

Lochside Lizard T-Shirt sales were a big success last week.  Thank you to Mike B. for organizing and ordering the shirts! They will be sold again this week on Thursday from 230-330pm at the school.  They are $6/ea of 2/$10 and come in a range of kids & adult sizes.

Mark your calendars! On January 4th & 5th, Capital Tree Service is hosting a TREE Chipping fundraiser here at Lochside with 50% of the proceeds going to the Annual Grade 5 Camp Thunderbird trip and the other 50% going to the Salvation Army.  Please tell your neighbors and friends and help cut the cost for this special trip! A big Thank you to Capital Tree Service for this community support!

Fun lunch is this Friday; if you can help, please let your class rep know!

The Holiday Book Shop was a big hit with the students.  Thank you to the organizers and volunteers for making this special event happen!

Are there any parents (or Grandparents?) willing to volunteer weekly or bi-weekly to facilitate the Lego Club starting in January 2014? This club hasn’t happened this year as we haven’t had anyone step forward into this role.  Please email lochsidepac@sd63.bc.ca if you are interested.  The students love having this program running and it is missed!

Thank you to all the Classroom Reps for helping keep all our events & planning organized so far this year! Your help is really appreciated.

Reminders for the Week:
