Dear Parents & Guardians,

 Please return all Entertainment Books today or tomorrow to school as any missing books will be charged to the school and come out of our profits!  If you still wish to purchase your book, you still may do so; however any payments need to be received by tomorrow as well. 

The school is looking for one or two parent volunteers for Emergency Preparedness would be help by:

  • working with the Principal to go over the school's procedures for Emergency Preparedness
  • checking and doing an inventory of our Earthquake supplies
  • searching for and ordering appropriate supplies
  • checking and replacing the water and food as appropriate

 There will be another run practice this Wednesday, October 9th for all students that have signed up for the Thrifty Foods Kids Run on Sunday, October 13th.  Please meet at 11:15am on the basketball court located at the back of the field close to the Lochside Trail.  Please come for a 15 minute practice with proper running footwear.   Any students are welcome to come to this practice regardless of whether they have signed up to run in the race.   Please encourage your son or daughter to come out.  Any parents that would like to help out are also welcome to attend.  If you have any questions you can contact Heather Caul, Team Captain at

 The first Fun Lunch is Friday, Oct 18th.  Please remember to sign up online and print the remittance form.  You can sign up for the entire year!  Last day to sign up for the October Fun Lunch is Oct 10th.  Generally, the cut off time for each Fun Lunch is 8 days before the event.   Also, please let your class rep know if you can volunteer; we need TWO Volunteers per class for each Fun Lunch.   In the past, there have been classes with no parents helpers and we need to ensure that the food goes out to all the classes in a timely manner.    Volunteers please meet outside the lepac kitchen at 11:20 am on the 18th.  Volunteers will deliver orders to their class, stay for the lunch and then assist in the clean-up; the commitment will take only 1 hour.

Our Fun Lunch Coordinator needs two volunteers, once per month.  One volunteer to pick up sushi at Fujiya at 11 am on the day of Fun Lunch and another volunteer to get chocolate chip cookies from Costco the week of the Fun Lunch.  Please email Tin directly at  Thank You!
