Upcoming Reminders and/or Events:
- Trail Walk is on Wednesday this week from 8:50-9:20am. Families are welcome to join us!
- Early dismissal day is this Thursday, December 12th - students will be dismissed at 1:48pm on this date so I can meet with parents/guardians. I will also be available to meet the day before and after the early dismissal day. Please follow this link to sign up for a conference.
What are we working on in class?
- Math: We are looking at strategies for addition and subtraction of larger numbers. This week we will be focusing on estimation and standard methods.
- Writing: We are finishing up our second stories and are choosing one of our stories to publish using Google Docs.
- Gym: We are finished our soccer tournament and are having whole group games for the next two weeks in gym.
- Reading: With Ms. Ammaturo we will be learning about the different types of conflicts in stories.
- Science: Ms. Ammaturo continues to teach us about matter - solids, liquids, and gas. With Ms. Norris we are learning about the movements of the sun, earth, and moon. This week we are focusing on tides and eclipses.
