Upcoming Reminders and/or Events:
- Tomorrow the iRide program begins and runs this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Thank you parents who have signed up with the online form. There are still 3 outstanding students. This must be completed tonight. Please follow the instructions online https://ccnbikes.com/#!/events/cycling-bc-iride-2019 Students should come dressed for the weather, with closed-toe shoes, and their bike and helmet. Some families may have indicated that they would like to use the bikes provided. We will be riding from 9:40-10:25 on the school property every day for the three days.
- Trail Walk is on Wednesdays from 8:50-9:20am. Families are welcome to join us on the weekly walk!
- Grade 5 camp forms were due today. Thank you for having those in. We'll be in touch with the fundraising committee to hear the balance due later this month.
- We sent our indoor shoes home before the break. Please help you child remember to bring them back for wearing in the school.
- No school for students on Monday, April 8th as it is a non-instructional day.
Social Studies: This week we are wrapping up our immigration and diversity unit with a passport activity with all of the grade 5s on Friday.
Math: We will be moving into division this week.
Gym: We will continue to work on our badminton skills this week.
Art: We are looking closely at Vincent Van Gogh's art style and will be trying some art activities with him in mind with pastels.
