Thank you to Kirsty H, and Christie H for organizing the delicious fun lunch this past Friday. We also thank all parents who volunteered to come help and distribute the food.
We would like to send a BIG thank you to Marissa C, for organizing the Fill the House Food Drive this year. We would also like to thank the team of parents that helped out including Kirsty H, Jane W, Trish J, Lisa P, Heather G, Heather R, Nicole W, Jen M, Jaime S, Zareen C, Shannon A, Jasmine G, Susan T and Sarah DR.
Thank you to Thrifty Foods for donating all the bags as well as every family that was able to donate. Our house (and school!!) were overflowing with food that was donated to the Mustard Seed on Friday. Way to go Lochside families!!!!!
HOLIDAY BOOKSHOP
Urgent call for holiday bookshop donations!!! We currently do not have enough books for all classes to participate.
We are also low on wrapping paper. The holiday bookshop begins this Tuesday December 11th. Please drop off book donations and wrapping supplies Monday! This is such a fun event for the kids and we need your help to make it a success. Thank you for your support!
Also, *remember to send your child with some money for Tuesday and Wednesday*
CHRISTMAS TREE WISHLIST
A reminder that the Christmas Tree Wishlist is finishing up this Friday, December 14th. There are a few gingerbread men left on the tree if you would like still like to participate as a family. We are asking that ALL presents and gift cards be dropped off under the tree by this Friday. Thank you to all families who have already participated in this event.
RECORDING OF WINTER CONCERT
LEPAC is offering to record the Winter Concert again this year. If you would like to purchase a USB stick which will include both winter concerts, please print out the attached form, fill it out, attach $10.00 (per USB stick) and return it to the envelope labeled ‘Winter Concert’ outside your child’s classroom by Dec. 21st. We will also be providing each student a paper copy to go home on Monday, December 10th.
Please note that this copy of the concert is for personal use only and should not be posted on the Internet or any social media. We thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter.
WE Club Holiday Card Sale
The We Club at Lochside is holding a Holiday Card Sale from December 10-14th, and 17-21st to support the Mustard Seed and Habitat for Humanity. The We Club members created pictures for the holidays they celebrate, and made cards for sale. These cards are $3 each or you can buy a package of 5 cards for $10. There are two packages, one all Christmas, and one different Holidays.
