Dear Lochside families,

Please read on for this week’s update:

Urgent Message – Silent Auction Tickets

Many thanks to our Lochside families for their kind and generous donations for our Silent Auction and to the families who have purchased tickets for this event so far.  Unfortunately, our ticket sales are low and we are hoping that anyone planning on attending this event will purchase tickets by Monday afternoon at the latest.  Envelopes have been put up outside of each classroom to collect ticket orders and payment. Please use the forms sent home on Tuesday and we will have your tickets waiting for you at the Beach House on Friday evening. Tickets can also be purchased by contacting Kelly directly.

We must provide the number of attendees to the Beach House Restaurant on Monday the 29th , so they are able to staff and prepare food accordingly.   If we are unable to sell at least 20 more tickets, we may have to cancel this event.

Again, this is a fundraiser to raise funds for a new electronic sign for Lochside.  The old sign above the office must be changed manually and only allows for a couple of important dates to be displayed per month.  An electronic sign would allow for instant communication between the school and parents, and reminders for important dates etc. could be programmed and changed as needed to keep parents informed.  We feel this would be a valuable addition to our school.  It’s also a great opportunity to get together and meet other Lochside parents in our community.

Thank you once again for your support.  We hope to see you there!!!
