Important Dates and/or Reminders:
- Camp Thunderbird is TOMORROW! Reminder that we at the regular time on Wednesday morning. Grade 5s do not need to go into the class. We will meet outside, drop off our bags in the marked area, take a photo together, and leave on the bus by 9:00am. We return to Lochside on Friday, May 26th at 1:30pm. Please note the early pick-up time for Grade 5s...we'd all like to go home and shower ;) Don't forget:
- pack enough gear for the three days: sleeping bag, pillow, appropriate clothing for the weather (it is 5 degrees cooler than Victoria), sturdy shoes, sun hat and sunscreen, toiletries, bathing suit & towel, flash light, a book or journal to do at night in the cabin. Absolutely no food, cell phones, valuables, etc.
- Camp Lochside is TOMORROW for the Grade 4s. At the morning bell, students will come into our class to grab their indoor shoes, a book, and their pencil box, and bring these items along with their backpacks to their classroom for the week. Today we wrote in our agendas who our teacher is: Ms. Seabrooke, Mrs. Smith, or Ms. Sundher (in our class). Students will be dismissed from these classrooms and will start the day there as well. Thursday is the Mt. Doug hike and Friday is the Commonwealth Pool swim. Enjoy the week Grade 4s! I look forward to seeing you on Monday and hearing all about Camp Lochside.
- Grade 4 Dads: We DESPERATELY need help for Friday's swim time at Commonwealth. We need dads to help chaperone the boys in the change room. This commitment is from 12:00-2:48pm. If you are able to help, please let me know ASAP. You will need to have your criminal record check already completed and at the office.
