Upcoming Events:
- Join us this Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 6pm for LEPAC's last meeting of the calendar year. This is an important meeting to attend as we will be voting on our 2016/17 Budget.
- The Scholastic “Bookaneer” Book Fair is opening this Friday, November 18th! We are still in need of a number of volunteers to help make this event a success and ask that you think about helping out for a shift or two. To volunteer please sign up here.
- Science Venture is holding ‘Hooked on STEM’, a career day for girls by girls on November 19th from 12:30-4 at the University of Victoria. This opportunity is open to girls in grades 3-6 and parents and the cost is free! For more information and to reserve your spot, follow this link.
- The Holiday Bookshop will be coming to Lochside again in December! We are hoping to start collecting used children's and adult books for this event. We would also like donations of wrapping paper, and stick-on bows. There will be collection boxes outside of the office and multi-purpose room. Thank you in advance for supporting this event! The kids really love being able to choose a special book for family members!
Fundraising:
Canadian Tire - Unsure of what to do with all that Canadian Tire money sitting around? Drop it in the jar located outside of the school office! LEPAC will use those funds for sporting equipment, kitchen supplies or other items to benefit Lochside students. A big thank you goes out to Marlena C. for organizing this!
Country Grocer Save-A-Tape Program - Country Grocer will issue gift cards for 2% (up to a total of $2,500) of the register receipts submitted. There is a box in the front foyer, by the library where Lochside friends and families can submit their receipts.
Cobbs Bread Royal Oak and Tru Value Foods on Cordova Bay Rd. - let them know you want to support Lochside at check out!
Thrifty Foods Smile Cards - use for your grocery purchases and support Lochside at the same time!
