Volunteer Needs

We are still seeking a number of volunteers for the following upcoming events:

  • Bike Roadeo - we will also need some parent volunteers for the Bike Roadeo on June 7th.  2 - 3 parents from 8:45 - 10:00 and the same from 10:00 - 11:15.
  • End of Year BBQ - Volunteers will also be needed for this event being held on June 17th.

If you can help with any of the above, please let us know by emailing lepacvolunteers@gmail.com.

A reminder that many of the Lochside Triathlon club students will be participating in the Victoria Youth Triathlon taking place at UVic on the morning of Sunday June 5th.  It would be great to see some Lochside fans out there cheering them on.

A message from COPACS

Hello Everyone,

COPACS is kicking off a petition calling on the BC government to return the monies taken under the province's Administrative Savings Plan and return them back to BC school boards to reinvest in our kids.

This money, originally intended for public education, will help relieve the financial pressures facing all districts across the province.  In our our district it will mean the difference between maintaining services to our kids for next year.

Help us advocate for our kids:

Yours for the children,
James Taylor, President
Confederation of Parent Advisory of Saanich

Have a great week!
