LEPAC Meeting
Please join us this Wednesday at 6pm for the March LEPAC meeting. Among other topics, we will be discussing positions for next year’s LEPAC executive in advance of our AGM in May. Of particular note, our Vice President and our Volunteer Coordinator positions are expected to be vacant. If you might be interested in one of these roles, please contact us or attend the meeting on Wednesday.
Fresh To You Spring Fundraiser
Last week to get your veggie order in! Support this nutritious fundraiser while raising money for our school and for the Grade 5 Camp Thunderbird trip. Orders are due on Friday, March 11th.
Did you know that $2500 of funds raised through our many fundraising events and activities helped to support our Artist-in-Residence, Gill Chater? Students benefitted from this opportunity for music enrichment and parents were treated to the winter concert!
Staff Appreciation
Looking for volunteers to help with the Staff Appreciation Week. We meet on the gym stage every Wednesday at 1pm. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thrifty Foods Run
Thrifty Foods Family Run registration continues for the April 24th 1.5km family run. Register online and remember to click on the Team Member icon and select Lochside Elementary School as your team.
Unplug & Play
Unplug & Play will run every Sunday from 1-3pm beginning April 10th, 2016 to October 23rd, 2016 at McMinn Park Playground .
IODE Fundraiser
Please see the attached for information about a card fundraising event on behalf of IODE, a group which has provided support to the Lochside Elementary library.
