Our Fill the House Food Drive was a great success again this year! Our house was overflowing with donations for the Mustard Seed and we were also able to prepare 10 complete Christmas hampers for families in our community, which included dry goods, toys from our wish list tree and a gift certificate.
We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of our Lochside community and thank you all so very much for your donations.
A special thank you to our parent volunteers for organizing, building our house, sorting donations as they came in, collecting wishes and preparing the hampers:
Nicole Whitsitt, Kirsty Hooker, Marissa Cameron, Jeni Norris, Alysha Boss, Jenn Todd, Trish Jackson Mitchell, Paige Mashford, Heather Caul, Brenda Greenwood and Liz Belanger.
A big thank you also goes out to Alysha and Jenni for organizing the Holiday Book Shop and to our parent community for their generous support in donating books, wrap, tags and bows. Not to mention our great response from parent volunteers. The book shop was a great success with $483.00 raised for the Mustard Seed.
