Today we had First Nations storyteller, Toby Joseph, in our library telling stories to various classes. One of the stories that the students listened to was "The Black Bear and the Stars." The children also enjoyed listening to Toby singing and playing the drum. Other activities planned during this week include a carving demonstration, lacrosse, drumming and nature walks to learn about indigenous plants. On Wednesday, to celebrate Earth Day, some of our classes are involved the CTV Community Clean-Up.
