Tomorrow morning (Wed. Oct. 15th) we kick off our weekly Walking Wheeling Wednesdays by celebrating International Walk to School Month. We will have adults starting at 8:00 am at the following locations: Baptist Church on Royal Oak Drive, Emilly Carr Park and McMinn Park. iWalk gives children, parents, school teachers and community leaders an opportunity to be part of a global event as they celebrate the many benefits of walking. Walkers from around the world walk to school together for various reasons — all hoping to create communities that are safe places to walk.
