For the next school year, we are looking for 1 or 2 parents to take over the LEPAC Emergency Lunch Program. Thank you to Jen Wilson and Shannon Bridge for running this program this year. If you haven't had the opportunity to volunteer yet this year, we have a couple more chances for you. This week we need several more parent volunteers for the Lochside Talent Show. This may be one of the most adorable events at the school so please consider treating yourself to watching our students show their 'stuff'! Please contact our volunteer coordinator Mary at lepacvolunteers@gmail.com to volunteer. We need people mid-day on the 3rd and 5th from 11 - 12.
We are also looking for people to help with the year end BBQ coming up on the 21st evening! Reminder: School Supply Order Forms are due June 14th. Cash or cheques payable to Monk Office please. Forms can be returned to the office.

Camp Thunderbird Family Fun Day - Sunday June 16th, 2013 - 10:00 am to 3:30 pm
Bring the whole family up to Camp Thunderbird for a day packed with fun camp activities! This choose-your-own-adventure style camps allow family members of all ages to try a range of activities. Drop-in activities include canoeing, archery, hiking, orienteering, frisbee golf, marshmallow roasting and rock climbing.
Guided tours of our camp facilities will give you a feel for what it is like to spend a summer here. We do not charge for our Family Fun Day but we will be accepting donations for our Stong Kids fundraising which helps send kids to camp who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
