Do we have to come right at 8:40 when StrongStart opens and stay to the 11:40 closing? No, StrongStart is drop-in in nature. It is a school based free program offering an enriched environment for infant-5 year old preschool children and their parent(s), grandparent(s) and caregiver(s). Feel free to arrive at any time that works best for you and your child(ren). Stay the length of time that is best for you and your child(ren) to engage together in exploration with the materials -whether that is for the full 3 hours or shorter.
Do I need to register my child(ren) ahead of our first visit to StrongStart? No, pre-registration is not required. Feel free to come into StrongStart any day* and at any time for your first visit -hours are: 8:40 a.m.-11-40 a.m. (*Please click on the StrongStart calendar icon or view the posts for StrongStart closures.) You do not need to stop at the school office as the registration forms are available in the StrongStart room from the StrongStart Facilitator. Seeing your child's ID is required as part of the registration process -the original of one of the following only- Birth Certificate, Passport, BC Care Card.
