Boys & Girls Club Services of Greater Victoria, Parenting Programs, and Ecole Bayside Middle School are offering a short series of parenting workshops to parents of preteens/young teens, age 7-13. Parents are welcome to attend one, some, or all!!
Week 1 - Parenting and Families - explore parent's role with emerging young teens & discuss adolescent development process (Nov 7)
Week 2 - Tasks of Adolescence and Communication - deepen understanding of developmental process & expand respectful communication tools (Nov 14)
Week 3 - Self-Care and Self Understanding - learn about temperament / our natures, & importance of self-care to family and selves (Nov 21)
Week 4 - Values and Perceptions - consider/discuss how perceptions & values may relate to &/or impact parenting (Nov 28)
Workshops are held each Wednesday in November from 6:30pm-8:45pm at Ecole Bayside Middle School.
