3) *In Case You Missed It* Lockdown Drill June 4th
Dear Lochside Families,
We will be holding a Lockdown Drill on Tuesday, June 4th at 12:30 pm. This is a drill that we must practice once per year.
Cst. Alex Omoding, our Saanich School Liaison Officer, will be running the drill. Students will be notified of the drill over the PA system. They will then move to their designated space in their classroom and wait quietly for the drill to end. The drill will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete from start to finish.

***************4) *This Friday, June 7* Jump Rope for Heart at Lochside + Fundraiser Information
Jump Rope for Heart is a movement to get kids active, have fun, practice healthy habits, and teach the importance of giving back to a charity that supports heart health and stroke prevention.

- Attached is a parent letter from the Heart and Stroke foundation that provides more information on fundraising. Our goal is $1000.
Note for Kindergarteners for Friday June 7th: bring your own skipping rope if you have it, as the school supply can bit a bit long for the Ks.

5) *Reminder* Island Hoppers Year End Show + Club Info
The Island Hoppers presented on Friday, May 31! Sounds like they really put on a good show!
Now that the Lochside students have gotten a chance to see them live, if students are interested in attending the free Year End Show (June 14 @ROMS) or joining the club in the future, please click here to view the flyer with all the details.

6) *This Saturday, June 8* Rebels Rebelles Basketball Association (players assessments)
The newly formed Rebels Rebelles Basketball Association is hosting players assessments on Jun 8 and 15th for the upcoming 2025/25 Night League Season.
