We've been keeping an eye on the updates about the water line... here's the latest from our wonderful principal!

Good Afternoon Lochside Families,
It is with great excitement that I share our water line has been repaired to Lochside School! The crews have been flushing the line, and it is holding; they will continue to flush the line throughout the rest of the day.
School will be back in session tomorrow, Thursday, January 18th. Our staff are excited to see all the students back in the building, and we cannot wait to hear their snow day stories. Thank you to our teachers for sending out learning opporuntities to all of our families today out of an abundance of caution in case we were out for a few more days.
As the weather continues to be unpredictable, and more snow is in the forecast, please ensure that your child comes to school wearing appropriate clothing to head outside. This means: a warm coat, snow pants or water proof pants, toque, gloves, and boots. Having an extra pair of clothes in their backpack is always a good plan, especially socks! Please label clothing with your child's name.
On behalf of the District, and staff at Lochside, I would like to thank all of our Lochside families for their patience and support as our crews worked tirelessly to fix the water line. We know that the past three days would have been quite a challenge to reorganize work/home responsibilities. Truly, we have an amazing community, and we felt this support as we had to close our school over the past 3 days to repair the line.
The PAC also has a couple announcements, please see below:
1) Fun Lunch: This is the last reminder to parents that tomorrow at 7pm is the cut off for next week's sushi fun lunch. Orders for our Sushi Fun Lunch on Friday January 26 will be accepted until 7:00pm on Thursday January 18 on the hotlunch website: https://lochside.hotlunches.net/.
2) TC 10K Run:
ARE WE READY FOR ANOTHER FUN RUN?! LOCHSIDE LIZARDS HAVE BEEN REGISTERED FOR THE UPCOMING TC10K!
Details: Race is Sunday, April 28th
