Hello, Lochside community!
In Sunday's weekly email we mentioned Lochside will be holding a Fall Book Fair with Russell Books.
We are looking for volunteers to help with this event scheduled on October 4th and 5th (early dismissal days).

1) Fun Lunches (The next Fun Lunch is this Friday, Sept. 29th.)
- Thank you to everyone who heard the URGENT call and signed up. We are all set for this Friday! We still have slots available through December 1. Kindly use this link to sign up to be a Fun Lunch Helper (Sept - Dec 2023).
2) Halloween Fair (Friday, Oct. 27th)
We are looking for a few volunteers to help organize our Halloween Fair this year scheduled for Friday, October 27th. This is one of the student’s favourite events of the year and would love to have some fun Halloween ideas.
If you are able to help out organizing the Halloween Fair event please consider signing up using this link.3) Royals Hockey Fundraiser (Monday, Nov 13th) is also looking for volunteers for "Chuck A Puck".

- The Saanich School District will be recognizing Orange Shirt Day on Friday, September 29th. Students are invited to wear an orange shirt to show their support for this day.
- Monday, October 2 is the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation - school is not in session.
