First, thank you to everyone who donated and participated in The Terry Fox Run day!
Special thank you goes to the Terry Fox fruit crew. They had a huge job to do, and came through in a big way! A thousand thank you's to: Joanne, Zenko, Jessica and Louisa who worked so hard to supply fruit to all the participants.
Safe Arrival
Reminder that late students are to sign in at the office if they arrive at school late. If it’s a planned late arrival, you can email the Lochside absences email: lochside_attendance@saanichschools.ca and then sign in to the front desk once back at school.
Welcome Back: Meet The Teacher Night
This Thursday, September 21 at 430pm you are invited to come visit the school, meet your teacher(s), and eat pizza on the field afterward. Please see the attached poster for details, including how to order pizza. It will also be posted on the front doors and on our FB page!
Fun Lunch: How to Order and Call for Volunteers
Have you started ordering Fun lunch yet? Heads up: last day for Fall orders is Sept 21.
To order:• You will first need to register for a new account, even if you had an account last year.
• Go to lochside.hotlunches.net. Click on “register” in the top right corner to sign up. Our school code is LSHL. Enter your name, email and phone number, then a username and password that you will use for access to the system.

Criminal Record Check For Volunteers
LEPAC and the Lochside School will need volunteer help and support for many events and activities in our school, such as our fun lunch program, field trips and school events. Saanich School District is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for our students and therefore ask volunteers to provide the school with a criminal record check. Volunteer Criminal Record Checks are completed online through the Department of Justice. This is an easy process and good for 3 years.
Volunteers must contact their school office to request a link and organization code in order to complete a Criminal Record Check.
