Sun Safety
A reminder from the school that the kids get out in the sunshine every day at school. They should come to class with a bottle of water, wearing sunscreen, a hat and light layers.
Jump Rope for Heart
Lochside will be Jumping Rope for Heart on June 14th! The school will be collecting toonies from now up until the big day. You can also donate directly to the event here to help Lochside reach its goal of raising $1000 towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Track and Field - Food Reminder
A reminder to all students participating in the district track meet: There will be no concession stand open. Please pack small quick-to-eat food items for your child as there will be nothing available for purchase at the site. Good luck to all our runners!
Volunteers Needed - Summer Year End Picnic
The Year End Picnic is almost here! Please try and sign up for a shift to help make this event a success.
We are also collecting glass prize jars once again. A table will be setup by the office where you can drop off the jars. There is a picture attached to this email with some examples of last year’s jars. This was such a hit with the students last time!
Fun Day - June 23rd
We are looking for a few volunteers to hand out freezies on Fun Day June 23rd in the morning around 10am at Lochside Elementary. Anyone who is able to help please email lepacvolunteers@gmail.com
Lost and Found
We are hoping to display all of the overflowing lost and found items along the front of the school over the next couple of weeks. Anything unclaimed will be donated. If you can help out with setting these items out, please send us an email. Thank you!
Talent Show
Our students are a talented bunch and are excited to show off their stuff June 22 & 23! Due to space, families can only have a maximum of two members in the audience for a viewing. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
