OUR LOST AND FOUND OVERFLOWETH
Lost and Found items will be on display in the school foyer from Jan. 26th to Feb. 2nd.
Please come by and have a peek! We hope that you will recognize some of the clothing, hats, gloves, shoes, water bottles, etc. and claim your child's items. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity.
Vote for Budget Increase
Due to rising costs, LEPAC needs to vote to increase the budget of a previously approved rainbow Buddy Bench to be installed on the school grounds. This increase of $1455.80 to our budget requires a vote of approval at our next general meeting on February 14th to go forward as per our constitution:
For expenses that arise after the approved budget, the LEPAC executive may vote to approve expenses up to $1000. For such expenses greater than $1000, a vote shall take place at a general meeting, with advance notice of the vote being given in a LEPAC newsletter at least 14 days prior.

Safe Arrival
Reminder that late students are to sign in at the office if they arrive at school late. If it’s a planned late arrival, you can email the Lochside absences email: lochside_attendance@saanichschools.ca and then sign in to the front desk once back at school.
