Thank you to our Lochside staff and teachers who are truly the best in the world - we look forward to celebrating them this week!
Staff Appreciation Week! May 24-27
We need lots of help to make our staff appreciation week a success. Thanks so much to all those who have stepped up so far to help. We are looking for people to help with setup and cleanup every day as well as international food contributions for Thursday’s potluck.
Students are also encouraged to wear all week long, jerseys, traditional attire or anything that represents who they are and where their family comes from! Please see the attached PDF for details on what’s going on.
Fun Lunch Volunteers
This Friday is a Pizza fun lunch. We are still seeking some more volunteers to sort or distribute food from 10:45-12. Please signup here
Year End Picnic
Save the date for June 24th for a school BYO picnic fair to celebrate the end of the school year. More details to come!
LEPAC Exec Roles
We are still looking for parents and caregivers to fill the following roles for the 2022/23 year
COPACS Representative (our liaison with the district-wide pac)
Communications Coordinator (if you have some tricks up your sleeve for getting our news out, we need you!)
Wellness and Digital Safety Coordinator (bring your vision to this role)
Member at Large (take on as much or as little as life allows)
Popcorn Next Year
We are also looking for one or two volunteers to help with popcorn days next year. This role brings huge smiles to the school.

Daily Health Check
Please ensure you are doing a daily health check with your student(s) and keeping children home if they are not feeling well and then following guidance of public health or the BCCDC as to when they can return.
Reporting an Absence or Late Arrival
Please email lochside_attendance@saanichschools.ca to report your child’s absence or late arrival. You may copy the email to the classroom teacher as well.

We have a few fundraisers that run year-round and help out LEPAC with things you might ordinarily do anyway
Our new bottle refund bin - leave your returnable empties in the blue bin at the end of the driveway
Country Grocer - Save your receipts and bring them back to school with your child
Mabel’s Labels - Try and save your kids’ items from the Lost & Found with cute little labels here. A portion of your purchase will be sent back to LEPAC!
