Welcome back Lochside Families. As we start back to school we are looking to our families to lead with kindness and compassion. The next few weeks and months could be a particularly challenging time, but together we can get through this.
Please ensure you are doing a daily health check with your student(s) and keeping children home if they are not feeling well and then following guidance of public health or the BCCDC as to when they can return.
Reporting an Absence or Late Arrival
Please email lochside_attendance@saanichschools.ca to report your child’s absence or late arrival. You may copy the email to the classroom teacher as well.
If you haven’t gotten a chance to read the message from our Superintendent please do so now. It provides clear information on what to expect moving forward with Covid.
Our first LEPAC Meeting of 2022 will be this Tuesday at 6:30pm via TEAMS. All parents and caregivers are invited to attend.

The BCCDC provides some good information on resources for people who need mental health support during this challenging time.
If you are looking for case information the most accurate information comes from the BCCDC. They provide provincial, health authority and regional level data about Covid 19.
