Thank Yous
A huge thank you to Kelsey, Heather, Trish and Lindsay who helped bag up our Purdy’s orders last week. Thank you also to Stephanie Kitlin and Tracey for helping hand out art cards and all the continual support of LEPAC they provide!
Food Drive
Our food drive for the Mustard Seed and our Lochside Community is happening this week: December 6 - 10th. Please bring food bank friendly food in with your child or drop it off outside the main entrance.
We are also looking for volunteers to help staff put together some hampers on December 9th after school. Please volunteer through this link here
Holiday Book Shop
The holiday bookshop is happening December 8-9th! Students will get a chance to “shop” for up to 2 books. The recommended donation is $2/student.
Please send in good condition, used books for grown-ups - but no outdated computer books, religious books, etc. We are also looking for donations of wrapping paper and gift tags. There will be a box by the front doors for your donations.
Half the proceeds will go to LEPAC and the other half to the Mustard Seed.
Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered, and to our coordinator Eva!
Virtual Wish Tree
Lochside is staying Virtual this year in support of families in our community. Please sign up to fulfill a wish of a child or family during this holiday season. After you have filled your wish please send the unwrapped gift in a bag with your child to school to pass to their teacher or contact lochsidepac63@gmail.com to arrange for a Covid safe drop off. If you wish to provide a monetary donation please contact lochsidepac63@gmail.com to arrange.
All wishes must be brought to Lochside by Monday December 13th at 3:00pm
Click here to see the wishes At this time, there is still a lot of need for Walmart gift cards.
Thank you for any support you can provide.
LEPAC Monthly Meeting
Our December Meeting will be happening next Tuesday December 14th in the gym at 6:30.
Country Grocer Receipts
Please bring in all your Country Grocer receipts before the start of Winter Break - ask your friends for theirs too! There are collection envelopes around your child’s classroom and also a box in the main foyer. 2% of the total collected will be reimbursed as gift cards to LEPAC. Easy peasy. Thank you to Lindsay for your hard work with this initiative.
Ongoing Fundraisers
We have a few fundraisers that run year-round and help out LEPAC with things you might ordinarily do anyway!
Country Grocer - Save your receipts and bring them back to school with your child
Bottle Depot - Take your bottles in and tell them it’s for “Lochside Elementary School PAC”
Mabel’s Labels - Try and save your kids’ items from the Lost & Found with cute little labels here. A portion of your purchase will be sent back to LEPAC!
