LEPAC Meeting - Tuesday September 14th
Every parent is invited to attend the first LEPAC meeting of the year.  The meeting starts at 6:30pm.  This is scheduled to be in person at Lochside in the school gym.  Please enter through the community usage door. Masks will be required.  To know how many people plan to attend, please sign up ahead of time, through this link.  Unfortunately, for this meeting there will not be child care available. This is a great time to hear the plans for the 2021-2022 school year, get an update from Administration and to meet other parents.  If you have any questions please contact us at lochsidepac63@gmail.com

Welcome Back Picnic - Sept 16th
After review through the school’s Health & Safety and Leadership teams they are happy to invite you to a “Welcome Back Picnic” Thursday, September 16th from 5:30 to 7:00. Based on recommendations from our district they are replacing the BBQ with a picnic dinner. You are invited to pack a picnic and bring a blanket to join us on our school grounds. This is an opportunity for you to reconnect with our community in our beautiful outdoors

Parking
Just a friendly reminder that parking and the school parking lot can be chaotic. To help make the school transitions less stressful we recommend parking offsite and walking the last few minutes to Lochside.  If you are using the school parking lot, remember to drive all the way to the end of the drop off lane, let your student(s) out and then continue out of the parking lot.  This lane should not be used if you need to assist your student(s) in getting out of the car.  When parking on the side streets around Lochside please follow all posted signs and be respectful of our neighbours.

Volunteers
LEPAC needs many volunteers throughout the year to help make our many initiatives successful.  Volunteers who will be in the school and potentially interacting with students will need a Criminal Record Check completed. This must be done every 3 years.  Please watch for the information on how to do this when the start-up package of forms goes home with your student.  If you wish to be contacted about volunteer opportunities please email lepacvolunteers@gmail.com

Covid Safety

Please remember to give teachers space when dropping off and picking up.  Also, masks are mandatory inside the school should you have to enter for any reason.
