Math is one of our main areas of focus during this year. We are starting off the year by focusing on teaching basic facts. Students need to learn basic facts in a meaningful and not by doing endless worksheets and rote memory. What is important is that students are having fun with numbers and seeing that math is a part of our daily lives.

Parents can try some of the online resources and games listed on this page. They can also spend time with their child (ren) playing other games using cards, dice and game boards e.g. Snakes and Ladders.
