We would like to thank all staff at Lochside for the time they put into organizing field trips, coaching basketball teams and all the 'extra's' that contribute to such an amazing learning experience for our children.  Way to go Lochside staff!!!

VANCOUVER ISLAND PARENT CONFERENCE
Vancouver Island Parent Conference 2020 is planned to be a wonderful event!  The focus this year is the ‘Balancing Act’ we live daily as parents. Being a parent is a rewarding part of our lives.  We see what we do as significant work, BUT it is not the only thing we do. How can we balance all the things in our lives and help our children be all they can be while finding their balance too? No guilt trips here - we are only talking about how to balance it all.  Our kids are worth it and so are we. Join us on February 29. Cost is $75 if registered by February 10th and $100 if registered after February 10th. The cost includes lunch and refreshments for the day. Location at Belmont Secondary School. Registration is open at https://vipc.ca

GRADE 5 PARENTS: IMPORTANT

Dear Grade 5 parents,

It is always an enjoyable moment for the children to receive their Grade 5 yearbook at the end of their elementary school career. We would love to create a Lochside yearbook 2019/2020.

As always and so again for the accomplishment of this year’s yearbook, we request a little bit of your help. Every child wants to be visible in this book and in order to make that happen please send us:

Pictures. We need pictures taken at school of your child. Pictures of this school year events. Maybe also some memorable Lochside events/achievements from passed Lochside years.

And very important, a kindergarten picture of your child.

Please make sure that the picture material you send has your child’s name and please send no more than 8 per child (excluding the kindergarten picture).

We understand that you need some time to collect pictures, but we would like to receive most pictures a.s.a.p. There will be more happening this school year off course, so it would be great if you could remember to send pictures of future events.

heidikars@gmail.com

You can also reach out to Heidi Kars at heidikars@gmail.com if you have any questions related to this yearbook or if you can offer time to help in any way related to this school year Grade 5-ers farewell.

Thank you for everyone's participation on this project and a big thank you to Heidi for her efforts in coordinating this for us all. Please give her a hand by getting your kids pictures to her soon.
