Thank Yous
Thank you so much to Reet D who puts a lot of time into our Country Grocer fundraiser!  Thank you as well to all the families who save their Country Grocer receipts and bring them into the school.  The gift cards we receive help fund things like the Kindergarten orientation, Year End BBQ, and providing food at education evenings etc.

Family Literacy Day
Tomorrow Monday January 27 is Family Literacy Day!  If you are able, please join your child in their class from 8:45-9:15 to read with them in celebration of Literacy!

Pink Shirt Day
Pink shirts and sweatshirts are now available for purchase!  You are able to make purchases until February 3rd, with the items available for pick up before February 27. To order, please click the following link: https://store.passionsports.ca/LochsidePink

LEPAC Monthly Meeting
Due to the snow we rescheduled our monthly LEPAC meeting.  The meeting is now this Wednesday, January 29 at 6:30pm. Childcare is provided.

Fun Lunch Changes
The missed November Fun Lunch is now rescheduled for May 29th. If you ordered fun lunch for November 1st you will receive this order on May 29th. Additionally, due to a conflict with the grade 5 trip to Camp Thunderbird we have rescheduled the May 22nd fun lunch to Thursday May 14th. Please mark your calendars with these new dates!

We would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped distribute lunches and clean up! We appreciate that it is a difficult time of day to come in and help, but with at least one helper per classroom it makes for a successful program for everyone. Because the bell schedule has changed this year, we don't hand out food until 11:30 so no need to arrive earlier than this. As always, feel free to contact us at lochsidefunlunch@gmail.com. Thank you!

We Club Bottle Drive
Our We Club is a having a bottle drive on Friday, January 31st BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL.  Please bring your refundable beverage containers to our school parking lot in the morning or afternoon - every little bit of support helps and is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for sharing and caring!

All proceeds will be going to Our Place Society.  This organization offers assistance and a sense of belonging to Greater Victoria's most vulnerable citizens.  The Society provides lodging, meals and hope through living, sharing, learning and caring.
