Thank Yous

Thank you to ou Co-Presidents Megan and Nicole for their continued efforts and hard work for LEPAC and our school community throughout the year.

Walk & Wheel to School comes to Lochside October 7-11, 2019.

Did you know almost half of students are driven to school and most trips to school are less than 3km and some are less than 500m!  Walk & Wheel To School is one way to celebrate and promote active travel year-round.

There are lots of ways to get involved every day of the school week:

  • Drive to Five (drive to a spot 5 minutes away from school and walk the rest of the way!)
  • Two (or 4) Tuesday (bike, scooter or skate your way to school)
  • Walk on Wednesday
  • Transit Thursday (sign up for the SD63 bus)
  • Freedom (car-free) Friday

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week, parent (and maybe some student) volunteers will be handing out stickers to add to our active travel poster to those participating in active travel.  Look for our active travel finish line at the front of the school.
