Thank you to our amazing Lochside Staff for all you do, with a special shout out to those who have worked with the cross-country kids, they have had such amazing examples and encouragers in you.
Thank you to the Health Committee who organized our screen free week and encouraged the students and families to get together and have fun and play!
Staff Appreciation
Staff appreciation week at Lochside is coming up quick and we have lots of fun stuff in store for our wonderful staff! This year’s week-long event will take place May 13th to May 17th.
On Wednesday May 15th, there will be a potluck lunch for the staff to enjoy which is put on by the parents. If you can send in a dish for our much deserving staff to share that day, it would be greatly appreciated. Please sign yourself up on the following link....

On Wednesday, May 8th, we will be hosting a Skip-A-Thon for our students in the gymnasium. Students will be skipping with the goal of raising funds to support research and care services for heart and stroke patients.
We ask your support in donating to help fight heart disease. We will donate the collected funds to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
Please consider adding to our loonie/toonie drive on May 8th. If you would like to donate by cheque, make cheques payable to School District 63 (Saanich). You can donate online as well. It is fast and easy and using this method you will get a tax receipt.
