Dear Lochside Families:
As you aware, the Ministry of Education has implemented a new provincial curriculum. As the curriculum has changed, so do the ways in which we assess, evaluate and report on student learning. This year the Saanich teachers will be communicating to you using a proficiency scale on your child's learning. The goal is to provide ongoing, descriptive feedback regarding your child's learning and actively involving both you and your child in the process.
