LEPAC would like to thank Alysha B., Nicole, and Lyn Rae K. for providing popcorn to all the students at Lochside this past week!

We would also like to thank Carolyn P. and her team for all the time they have dedicated to our Morning Watch Program!!!!  They always bring a smile to every student who enters our school in the mornings. Thank you!!!

Our first winner from the volunteer prize draw (a new initiative to appreciate our wonderful volunteers) is:

Akiko Nagai who has a son who started kindergarten this year. Akiko volunteered for the Lochside Halloween party, the Scholastic book fair, the upcoming Teacher Appreciation and fun lunches.  One of Akiko's favourite hobbies is playing tennis. Thank you so much Akiko for all of your time helping to make Lochside Elementary a great school!!

We continue to look for donations that people may have laying around their home to make up the prizes. If you have a gift card that you won't use, a box of cookies (or homemade) a new toy that your kids don't use or anything at all that you think families would like to receive as a gift please contact to arrange the donation.

A reminder that our STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK starts tomorrow!  If your child has decorated a star for their teacher, please have them cut it out and return it to the bin located at the front entrance.  There are extra copies of the star if your child needs a new one! Thank you all students who have already decorated and handed them in. They look amazing!!!!

There will be a staff appreciation luncheon on the gym stage on Wednesday, April 25th at 11:15 am.  For anyone willing and able to bring a food item for our wonderful staff, you can drop off your dish in the PAC kitchen in the morning with any instructions you may have attached to it.  Please also remember to label your dishes so they are easily returned.

In order to avoid too much of the same food items, please list your name and your food item here and please use the same Link to sign up if you are able to help set up, serve or clean.

Thank you!

The Spring Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon and we need your help to make it a success. The fair runs from Friday May 11th to Tuesday May 15th (excluding the weekend). Please consider volunteering for a shift or two! Thanks for your support!

We are still in need for one or two volunteers for the Growing Chefs program which takes place every Tuesday morning in Ms. Moore/Ms. Mailloux's class.

Over the summer we are looking for a donation of a lawnmower and a volunteer to come a few times over the summer to maintain the courtyard.

Interested individuals for any of these initiatives should email
