LOCHSIDE WINTER CONCERT RECORDINGS
If you have purchased a USB stick of the recording of our winter concert, we will be sending the stick home with your child on January 11th.
WHITE HATTER PRESENTATION-PARENT EDUCATION NIGHT
LEPAC has organized a very important parent education night on January 16th. We are very excited to provide The White Hatter this year. This presentation talks about how education is the first step in keeping our kids safer in this technology-driven world. We encourage all parents, whether your child is in kindergarten or grade 5, to attend this free education night. Child care as well as refreshments will be provided.
Please sign up on the provided link below if you are planning to attend as well as if you are planning on having your child attend our child care services. Any questions, please email Nicole at lochsidepac@sd63.bc.ca

Bottle Drive Blitz
There is a "BOTTLE DRIVE BLITZ" on Saturday, January 13th to fundraise for Grade 5 students going to Camp Thunderbird. Our school parking lot will be open from 10:00 to 3:00 to accept your empties. Please save up your refundable beverage containers over the holidays and spread the word to families, friends and neighbours!
If you would prefer to return your bottles prior to the Blitz, but would still like to support the Grade 5 Class, bottles can be returned to any Bottle Depot. Please let the cashier know at the beginning of your transaction that you would like to donate your bottles to the LOCHSIDE GRADE 5 FUNDRAISER account and all proceeds will be applied towards Camp Thunderbird.
Used Clothing and Rummage Sale
The Used Clothing Sale is coming back this year Thursday February 8th and Friday February 9th, so please hang on to your children's clothing that they have grown out of so it can be donated to this fun event. We are also accepting used toys this year that are in good condition and in working order. Please bring all of your donations to the school gym on Wednesday Feb. 7th at pick up.
As well this year, we are holding a Community Rummage Sale on Saturday, February 10th from 10 am – 2 pm. Please help by clearing your clutter over the next couple of months and have it ready in early February when donations will be collected. Donations of gently used household items, other than safety equipment, car seats, helmets and recalled items, are appreciated.
All the proceeds from this two events will go to support Camp Thunderbird for the grade 5's.
